Inspector Gary Wagner hated getting called out at night. The only thing he hated more was the senseless,
sudden death of an innocent human being. He didn't know the woman lying in the filthy, blood-soaked alley - but it was his job to
learn everything about her, her family, and her killer.
A crime novelist, David Corey was used to plot twists, police investigations, and the wheels of justice. He wasn't used to real-life police work or the massive effort that goes into an Oklahoma City homicide investigation. He soon learned that fiction is a pale shadow of reality.

You took me on a roller-coaster ride that I didn't know was a roller-coaster ride at first. As I was getting to know Mom, Turtle, Aunt Mary, Uncle Joe, and the colorful cast of family and friends, you were methodically leading me to the top of the Beyond the Flats coaster.
Murder, anger, grief, acceptance, forgiveness, and more. It's all here in Footsteps Echo, a well written Christian style murder mystery. Follow along with the police (homicide division) as they try to unravel a murder that appears to have no clues.
Absolutely the best book I have read this year! Michael Stephanic paints the narrative so well with his descriptive imagery that Footsteps Echo effortlessly places the reader into the same room with the characters! I had a hard time putting the book down and an easy time picking it up again to pursue the echo of this "foot stepping" journey.
